Only four more days till break! Today, we’re talking about some popular, classic Christmas movies.
1. Home Alone
Likely, you are already familiar with the first two Home Alone Movies. In the first one, Kevin Macallister, the main character, gets left behind at home when his family goes on Christmas vacation. With thieves roaming the neighborhood, Kevin is left to fend for himself. Kevin puts together a mastermind plan to protect his house and save himself from the thieves. In the second movie, Kevin McCallister boards the wrong plane. Kevin ends up in New York City while the rest of his family is in Miami. He checks into the Plaza Hotel. Later on, he encounters the thieves from the first movie who have escaped from jail. He catches them plotting to rob a toy store and once again puts together a genius plan to defeat them once again. These two classic Christmas movies will get your whole family laughing!
2. The Polar Express
The Polar Express is a well known Christmas animated film that many people have enjoyed during the Christmas season for years. On Christmas Eve, a boy boards a train filled with other kids. They journey to the North Pole for a chance to meet Santa Claus and receive the first gift of Christmas, but only one lucky kid will get chosen. Along the way he makes friends with the other kids on the train and learns the meaning of Christmas.
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a movie based off of a Dr. Seuss book published in 1957. Since then, several adaptations of this story have been made into movies. The first movie version was an animated one that came out in 1966. Since then, several more versions of the story have been brought to the big screen. In 2000 a live-action adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey as the Grinch, was released.
4. The Santa Clause
The Santa Clause is a live-action movie about a man becoming the new Santa, after the previous one met an unfortunate end. Throughout the movie, he gets to strengthen his relationship with his son. The Santa Clause is a comedy filled movie, sure to get the whole family laughing.
