While Marion Center has seen changes in faculty, curriculum, and programs, one of the most hands-on, student-centered activities, clubs, has made its return for the 2025–26 school year! This year, we have a couple of new and returning clubs for you to look into!

Do you like to learn a new language? Do you like being in charge? What about learning important stuff from over the years? If you like any of these things, we have the clubs for you! Marion Center has come out with a few new clubs this year, bringing new and exciting experiences for everyone!

Do you take Spanish, or did you drop Spanish because of scheduling conflicts? This year, Mrs. Almes brought back the Spanish club, where you can learn how to say different phrases in Spanish! If you enjoy working with other classmates to bring a change into the school, or be a voice for your classmates, you should give Student Council a try. Mrs. Britton and Mrs. Proch are now advising the Senior High Student Council (9-12), while Mr. Jackson constructed a Junior High Student Council (7-8)! You can visit these clubs on Club A days, but what about Club B days?

On Club B days, we have some new clubs for you to check out, too! Do you love movies? We have a new addition to the Hive, the Movie Lovers Club, created by Mrs. Prutznal and Mrs. Stormer, where you can watch a movie, relax, take a break from the stressful school work, and just have some fun! Senior High, if you enjoy engineering and design-making, Ag Tech and Technology may be the club for you! The club is under the supervision of Mr. Weiss and Mr. Yeomans. In Ag Tech and Design, you learn about using tools and designing things for the school; you also make stuff for the school to give back in meaningful ways. And this year’s final new addition, brought to life by Mr. and Mrs. Sturrock, History Club! If you love learning about important stuff that happened over the years, this club is perfect for you!

And of course, we have Newspaper Club on Club A days! If you like to write, come and check us out!
