Senior Spotlight: Sierra Hart-Fabbri

Mackenzie Thomas, Sports and Entertainment Editor

This year the Stinger Newspaper would like to recognize each of our seniors in the Senior Spotlight portion of our paper. We took the time to ask the class of 2023 some questions about themselves, and their time here at The Hive. Take some time today to read all about Sierra Hart-Fabbri!

As a young child, Sierra always thought she would someday become a teacher. While her youthful dream has slowly turned into something different, she is undoubtedly teaching and inspiring others. During her junior year, she qualified for the States Skills Competition for photography, blazing the trail for other digital communications at ICTC to do the same. For 10 years, Sierra has been a part of Marion Center Area School District’s cheerleading team, as well as a local majorette team. Not only has she worked hard to accomplish so much during her time in high school, but she has had fun doing it!

“I enjoy both of my extracurricular activities a lot. I’ve made a lot of friendships and have made a ton of memories through both.” Hart-Fabri told the Stinger Newspaper. She also made sure to highlight that some of her best memories of high school have been made at football games. Whether she’s on the sideline with pom-poms or laughing with her friends and family, Sierra could always be found having a good time under the Friday night lights.

Academically, Sierra has been a stand-out student! As a member of the National Technical Honor Society, Sierra has shown she is dedicated both in and out of the classroom.

When asked which teachers and/or coaches have influenced her the most throughout her high school career, Sierra was quick to answer. “Mrs.Kough was probably one of the biggest influences on me throughout high school. She has gone through so much and never gave up, and continues to live her best life every day.”

Following her graduation from both ICTC and Marion Center in June, Sierra has big plans. She will be attending the University of Northwestern Ohio for high-performance Motorsports and auto technology.

As we say farewell to her in the spring, she is beyond excited to move on to the bigger and better things in her life. Her farewell message to all of the underclassmen is: “Peace.”
