Senior Spotlight: Madelynn Orr
This year the Stinger Newspaper would like to recognize each of our seniors in the Senior Spotlight portion of our paper. We took the time to ask the class of 2023 some questions about themselves, and their time here at The Hive. Take some time today to read all about Maddie Orr!
When she was young, Maddie always thought she would one day become a lawyer. While this is not the same as what she wishes to do now, her ambition to go far in life is still the same! Maddie has attended ICTC for 3 years in the Health Occupations department, and plans on using her supplementary education to become a pediatric nurse in the near future.
Maddie tells the Stinger news that her proudest accomplishment was earning the Rosebud Teen of the week award earlier this school year. She has made countless memories here that will last a lifetime. “Laughing every day with my friends in star period in 8th grade is my favorite memory”, she told The Stinger News. Her favorite class is AP Literature & Composition with Mrs. Stadler.
Here at Marion Center, there have been many teachers that have inspired Maddie. She detailed who those teachers are and why they have made such an impact on her in an interview with Stinger News. “Dr.Monsour has inspired me. She is so kind and teaches you about broader things outside of the regular English curriculum”, she said. “Also Mrs. Stadler, She is really nice and fun and keeps things simple.”
Maddie’s message to the underclassmen is: “School goes quicker than you think, so have fun while you are here.”
