National Public Sleeping Day
Blair Park decides to celebrate National Public Sleeping Day by napping during some down time.
March 1, 2023
February 28, is National Public Sleeping Day. This day celebrates the ability to fall asleep midday, which is around noon-time, and asks participants to fall asleep wherever they are sitting. While this is a nationally recognized day, students should never sleep in class because they could miss valuable information and may led to a student receiving a failing grade. If a person falls asleep in public, someone else may decide to

enact a prank, which may be funny to others, but not when it’s to you! Teachers and public officials advocate against sleeping in class, or anywhere dangerous, because they want you to succeed and not get hurt. Enjoy your nap-time!
