Senior Spotlight: Nathan Druschel

Nathan has been a member of MC Robotics for 3 years. He is also involved as the president and founder for Marion Center’s Dungeons & Dragons Club & Table Topper’s Club.

Nathan plans to pursue a career in computer science with plans to attend either Lycoming College or Allegheny College.

Nathan has a passion for all kinds of “nerd stuff” such as video games, board games, Star Wars, and many forms of technology including 3D printing, physics, programming, and robotics.

Nathan has also been working towards a certification in Information Technology Services through Google’s certification program.

“Don’t give up on the person you’re becoming” I am Mackenzie Thomas, a junior at Marion Center Area High School. I am currently involved in Advanced Competetive Robotics, Bots IQ Robotics, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA), Cross Country, and Track and Field. I am a proud member of the Newspaper staff for the fifth year. My love for journalism is flourishing as I am able to contribute to myself in a positive way. Ultimately, the Newspaper Club is giving me the opportunity to represent the school through writing and exploring events going on amongst the student body, all while contributing to my future career goal in the sports journalism field.
