From standout scholars and star athletes to dedicated artists and passionate leaders, these students have left their mark in countless ways. Join us as we honor their journeys and look ahead to the bright futures that await them.
Nicole Scott
Nicole is planning on attending the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown as a Biomedical Engineering major. She participated in cross country, swimming (3-time state qualifier, 2024 District Champion), track, FBLA, QuizBowl, Project Earth, and National Honors Society. Her advice for younger students is don’t be afraid to ask questions, the teachers want you to learn and grow as a person.
Brenden Harper
Brenden is planning on attending the University of Maine after graduation to earn his degree in Marketing. Brenden participated in FBLA for 3 years, serving as Vice President for his senior year. He also Co-lead the creation of the Stinger Storeroom, a free clothing closet for underprivileged students in our school for two years. His advice for younger students is don’t rush the present for the future, live up the life you’re living now.
Cassidy States
Cassidy is planning on majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy at Ohio University post-graduation. She participated in swim team, National Honors Society, FBLA (National Qualifier), and served as Co-leader of the Stinger Storeroom, and president of Art and Pottery Clubs. Her advice for younger students is to use ALL of the resources available to you.
Carley Shoop
Carley is planning on attending Penn State Behrend for Mechanical Engineering after graduation. She participated in Tri-M Music Honors Society, National Honors Society, Newspaper, QuizBowl, Swim Team, and Choir. Her advice for younger students is to find the value in everything, it’s there, I promise.
Olivia Short
Olivia is planning on attending IUP for early childhood special education and applying to the state police academy after she earns her degree. She participated in track and field, swimming, marching band, concert band, choir, theatre, Tri-M, National Honors Society, and FFA. Her advice for younger students is to jut keep swimming.
