A hometown late model driver Micheal Duritsky Jr., has passed away due to a tragic car accident.
Michael is a 28-year-old dirt late model driver out of Addison, Pa. Born May 9, 1997, in Uniontown, Pa., Michael had many accomplishments in his life.
Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 Micheal was involved in a car accident that sadly ended his life.
Although only 28 when this happened, Michael had many accomplishments in his life.
Michael was a successful Northeast dirt late model racer known for his prolific wins, especially in the Crate Late Model division.
He earned multiple track championships at Latrobe and Dog Hollow speedway, and achieved over 80 career victories, including larger Super Late Model wins at Marion Center and Roaring Knob.
Alongside significant achievements in the RUSH Late Model Series. Michael had over 80 career victories. He accumulated numerous wins in multi-divisional late model racing.
Michael had a wife of three years and had a daughter.
When Michael wasn’t at the race track, he spent a lot of time with his family.
They enjoyed hunting, hiking, and exercising together as a family.
Michael always wanted to be together as a family.
Michael was also a part-time mechanic.
Michael was caring, loving, and a kind person to meet.
He helped anyone he could and put others before himself.
People say he was always there to help, and there wasn’t a single problem he couldn’t fix.
Since the accident, Michael’s wife and family had been in great hands, having supportive friends and family that Michael made during his racing career.
His family had their viewing for him on January 14th, 2026.
Rest in peace, Michael. Everyone truly loved you, not just as a driver but as a person.
