Varsity Volleyball is on Fire!!

Marion Center (9-1) Varsity volleyball remains unbeaten in the Heritage Conference improving their record to 8-0 by defeating River Valley Panthers last night 3-1. Scores were 25-18, 17-25, 25-14, and 25-11. Miranda Leasure led with 14 service points. Olivia Gaston had 30 assists and Kaelee Elkin had 21 kills. Molly Beer and Mollie Shadle each had 21 digs while Natalie Black and Kieler Elkin combined for 12 Blocks.

MC JV lost 1-2. Scores were 17-25, 25-20, 9-15
MC JH 9th grade lost 1-2. Scores were 16-25, 25-17, 7-15
MC 7/8 grade team split 1-1. Scores were 25-17 and 23-25

“Don’t give up on the person you’re becoming” I am Mackenzie Thomas, a Senior at Marion Center Area High School. I am currently involved in Advanced Competetive Robotics, Bots IQ Robotics, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA), Cross Country, and Track and Field. I am a proud member of the Newspaper staff for the fifth year. My love for journalism is flourishing as I am able to contribute to myself in a positive way. Ultimately, the Newspaper Club is giving me the opportunity to represent the school through writing and exploring events going on amongst the student body, all while contributing to my future career goal in the sports journalism field.
