Going into week six of the football season, your varsity Stingers are putting in the work, following their strong performance against number 1 in the conference, United Valley, they’re preparing to do the same thing this week in their match-up against the River Valley Pathaners. The Heritage Conference has undergone many changes for the 23-24 season, adding 2 new teams. The Conemaugh Township Indians and Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays joined the 10-team Heritage Conference bringing the total to 12 teams. Here is a look at the current standings in the conference.

“Don’t give up on the person you’re becoming”  I am Mackenzie Thomas, a Senior at Marion Center Area High School. I am currently involved in Advanced Competetive Robotics, Bots IQ Robotics, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA), Cross Country, and Track and Field.  I am a proud member of the Newspaper staff for the fifth year. My love for journalism is flourishing as I am able to contribute to myself in a positive way. Ultimately, the Newspaper Club is giving me the opportunity to represent the school through writing and exploring events going on amongst the student body, all while contributing to my future career goal in the sports journalism field.
