A sophomore here at Marion Center, Adam’s dedication and passion for the sport have made him a standout among his peers. With a running career that began in the 7th grade, Adam not only follows in the footsteps of his older siblings but also demonstrates the potential for greatness in his own right.

Throughout his cross-country journey, Adam has exhibited an unwavering commitment to the sport. Starting at such a young age, he made a brave decision to pursue running, drawing inspiration from his older siblings who had already paved the way. Adam’s consistent dedication and hard work have paid off, resulting in remarkable progression and an ever-improving performance.

Adam’s presence on the cross-country course is truly awe-inspiring. He consistently pushes his limits, resulting in impressive finishes and personal bests. “Don’t give up on the person you’re becoming”  I am Mackenzie Thomas, a junior at Marion Center Area High School. I am currently involved in Advanced Competetive Robotics, Bots IQ Robotics, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA), Cross Country, and Track and Field.  I am a proud member of the Newspaper staff for the fifth year. My love for journalism is flourishing as I am able to contribute to myself in a positive way. Ultimately, the Newspaper Club is giving me the opportunity to represent the school through writing and exploring events going on amongst the student body, all while contributing to my future career goal in the sports journalism field.
