Marion Center High School’s cross country team showcased their exceptional talent and determination at the recent PIAA State Championships held at Hershey Park. Despite tough competition from 27 top teams across Pennsylvania, the Marion Center girls team proved their mettle by securing a commendable 9th-place finish in the state.

The Stingers displayed their unwavering commitment and relentless spirit throughout the intense championship race. Their hard work, dedication, and hours of training paid off as they showcased their skills, proving that Marion Center High School is a force to be reckoned with in the cross country scene.

“Don’t give up on the person you’re becoming”  I am Mackenzie Thomas, a junior at Marion Center Area High School. I am currently involved in Advanced Competetive Robotics, Bots IQ Robotics, FIRST Robotics, Future Business Leaders of America(FBLA), Cross Country, and Track and Field.  I am a proud member of the Newspaper staff for the fifth year. My love for journalism is flourishing as I am able to contribute to myself in a positive way. Ultimately, the Newspaper Club is giving me the opportunity to represent the school through writing and exploring events going on amongst the student body, all while contributing to my future career goal in the sports journalism field.
